Jann and George Bowne held the annual Christmas party at their home this year. Jann fired up her smoker (inside her garage because of the high winds outdoors that week) and smoked a lovely turkey for the party. As an added bonus for pre-meal snacking, Jann had also tossed in a brick of Philadelphia Cream Cheese to the smoker, and she set it out for the party with a plate of snack crackers. Mmmm, delicious!

After dinner, and following a brief business meeting, the chapter members gathered around the cookie table and filled the tins of cookies which we will later deliver to various Fixed Base Operators and Air Traffic control facilities in the central Ohio area. We like to show them our appreciation for being there for us. In return, all the recipients always tell us how much they enjoy the sweets. |
